Las Vegas adds to John Spytek’s staff
The Las Vegas Raiders have hired Johnathon Stigall as their assistant director of college scouting recently.
Let’s get to know Stigall better:
Last job:
He spent the last 11 years with the New York Jets. He was last their national scout last season. He was also an are scout and a senior regional scout for the Jets during his tenure there.
Experience:
In total, Stigall comes to Las Vegas with 27 years of NFL experience. He worked for the Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears, all in scouting roles.
Ties to Raiders:
Stigall worked with new Las Vegas general manager John Spytek in Philadelphia for four years and in Cleveland for two years. So, there is a clear comfort level there.
The timing of his hiring:
New regimes often make changes and fill out a new front office shortly after the draft, which is the case here with Stigall’s hiring
