The start of the 2021 NFL season is rapidly approaching with the Las Vegas Raiders set to get their campaign underway at Allegiant Stadium on Sept. 13 against Lamar Jackson’s Baltimore Ravens.
Although Raiders fans will finally be able to watch their team in person on their home turf in Las Vegas during the 2021 campaign, the team has put some restrictions in place ahead of the season opener next month, according to Vincent Bonsignore of Vegas Nation.
Also, vaccine shots will be available at @Raiders games. If you get the first shot, you can attend the game but you have to wear a mask. Once the second shot is administered and the necessary time passes, you can attend without masks. https://t.co/miAfbIj0jx

Raiders owner Mark Davis is going with a strict approach with the season only a few weeks away and more franchises around the league could do the same, especially if the Delta variant continues to trend in the wrong direction.
In the meantime, the Raiders will prepare for the final two preseason games before embarking on the first 17-game regular season in NFL history.
Jon Gruden’s squad will go on the road for the first time in the preseason, as they will face the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium on Sat. Aug. 21. Then the Silver and Black will head back to the Bay Area to face the San Francisco 49ers on Aug. 29 in their preseason finale.
Gruden and his coaching staff will have until Aug. 31 to get the roster down to 53 players. The Raiders made their first round of cuts this week while bringing back kicker Daniel Carlson, who was on the Reserve/COVID-19 List.
The Raiders will have to get their roster down to 80 players by Aug. 24 and will have one week to cut 27 players to get to the mandatory 53.
