Who will Las Vegas miss from last season’s roster?
As we get closer to the 2024 Las Vegas Raiders’ season, let’s look at some of the biggest departures from the team whether they left in free agency or were released:
Josh Jacobs, running back:
Jacobs is the best player on this list by a pretty good margin. He’s an above-average starting tailback, but the Raiders let him walk to the Green Bay Packers in free agency. How much will the Raiders miss Jacobs? Well, that is up to new starting tailback Zamir White. He showed at the end of last season when Jacobs was injured that he can be a quality player. But he must show it throughout the course of the season. Regardless of White’s success, the Raiders will miss Jacobs’ spirit. he was a heart-and-soul type player.
Jermaine Eluemunor, tackle:
Eluemunor, who signed with the New York Giants, was somewhat underrated. He wasn’t an top-level player. but he was steady and productive. Expected new starting right tackle Thayer Munford has a chance to make it a smooth transition and the Raiders may not miss Eluemunor. But he is a solid player.

Amik Robertson:
He is a scrappy rotational cornerback who has a knack to make plays. The Raiders will miss Robertson, who signed with the Detroit Lions, in their cornerback rotation.
Hunter Renfrow, wide receiver:
This may be more because of nostalgia than anything else. Renfrow’s productive slipped badly in the past two seasons before the Raiders released him this offseason. The Raiders probably won’t miss Renfrow much, although there was a time not too long ago when he was an extremely valuable piece of the offense.
Bilal Nichols, defensive tackle:
Nichols was a decent part of the rotations at defensive tackle. Now with the Arizona Cardinals, Nichols could be missed in Las Vegas if there are some injuries at the position.
Conclusion:
As this list shows, the Raiders won’t miss a lot from these departures. Other than Jacobs, they are mostly lower-level starting types or rotational players.
