The Las Vegas Raiders jumped at the chance to bring more help to their revamped linebacker group Wednesday as they have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with former Cincinnati Bengals captain Germaine Pratt, according to several reports.

The Bengals released Pratt on Tuesday. There were reports that several teams showed fast interest in Pratt, but he choose the Raiders because of opportunity/
The team saw starters Robert Spillane (New England Patriots) and Divine Deablo (Atlanta Falcons) leave in free agency. The Raiders replaced them with veterans Elandon Roberts and Devin White, who both signed one-year contracts.
Now, the Raiders have a third veteran signed to a one-year deal. Between Pratt, Roberts and White the Raiders should have a good rotation of quality veterans at the position.
Pratt just turned 29 and he was a team captain for the Bengals in 2024. He has 88 started in six NFL seasons and he had a combined 261 tackles in the past two seasons. Now, he gives the Raiders a much-needed boost to the defense.
