Las Vegas plays at Pittsburgh on Sunday
The dust hasn’t even settled from the Las Vegas Raiders’ season-opening 33-27 overtime win against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night and we’re onto the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Life moves fast in these parts.
Let’s take an early look at the Steelers, who Las Vegas visits at 10 a.m. PT on Sunday:
Steelers record: Pittsburgh is 1-0 after a Week 1 23-16 upset win at the Buffalo Bills. The Steelers trailed 10-0 at halftime.
Raiders-Steelers factoid: The Raiders have beat the Steelers three of their past four matchups dating back to 2012.
Pittsburgh offense: Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and the offense came alive in the second half after he looked awful in the first half. Expect to see a heavy dosage of first-round pick, running Najee Harris. He played all 58 snaps last week.
Pittsburgh defense: This unit rose to the occasion against Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen and a strong offense. Pittsburgh linebacker T.J. Watt is a major problem and the Raiders will have to game plan for him.
Early Steelers’ injury report: Wide receiver Diontae Johnson suffered a right leg injury Sunday against Buffalo.
Betting line: The Steelers are favored by 6.5 points and 49.5 is the over/under at FanDuel.com
Weather: The forecast is for mostly sunny skies and a temperature of 83 degrees in Pittsburgh on Sunday afternoon.
