Raiders have worst rest disadvantage in the NFL this season
Overall, the Las Vegas Raiders 2025 regular-season schedule appears fair in a lot of ways and it seems fairly manageable.
But there is a glaring issue and disadvantage as NFL analyst Warren Sharp has pointed out.
The Raiders have the lest rest in the league this season and one of the worst this decade. Here are some of the gory details on Las Vegas’ lack of rest in the 2025 season via Sharp:
No team got hit harder by the 2025 NFL schedule than the Raiders:
– Fewest rest edge games (1)
– Most rest disadvantage games (6)
– Net -19 days of rest (worst in NFL)Early road games. Short weeks. Brutal setup.

These numbers are a bit ugly and doesn’t look great. Will it be a major negative factor during the season? Time will tell but it certainly is something to consider.
Don’t be surprised if new Raiders’ head coach Pete Carroll adjusts the practice schedule during these challenging stretches and as the season wears on as the tema adjust to this schedule reality.
