Yet, ticket prices around the league are crashing
Fans are expected to be allowed in NFL stadiums across the league next week when preseason games begin in earnest.
However, prices have dipped in a big way at most stadiums. For example, an Aug. 28 game between the Arizona Cardinals at the New Orleans Saints are being offered for as low as $1 at Gametime.com. That’s right, one hundred pennies will get you into an NFL game.
There are rock-bottom prices for other games around the NFL as well. However, that is not the reality for the Las Vegas Raiders’ one home game in the preseason when they host the Seattle Seahawks at Allegiant Stadium (the first time there will be fans in the house for a Raiders’ game) on Aug. 14.
On Wednesday at StubHub, the cheapest seat in the house for that game is being offered at $130. That is a sky-high price for a preseason game. Of course, it is a relative bargain compared to the regular season with the get-in prices being routinely priced at $500 or more for the Raiders’ one-game home slate.
So maybe going to the preseason game is the way to go for those who can’t wait to step inside of Allegiant Stadium.
