Oddsmakers reflect how tough of a division it is
As they start the John Spytek, Pete Carroll and Geno Smith era, the Las Vegas Raiders looked improved heading into the 2025 season as they try to improve from a 4-13 season and a last place finish in their division.
Yet, according to oddsmakers, the Raiders are considered a fourth-place team again the AFC West this season.
According to our friends at FanDuel Sportsbook, the Raiders are priced at +950. The Kansas City Chiefs, who won the division title nine straight years, are a favorite again at -120. The Los Angeles Chargers are +330 and the Denver Broncos are priced at +350.
The odds are understandable as the other three teams in the division all went to the playoffs last season. But hey, this is an opportunity for Carroll and company to prove a lot of people wrong.
