Good to start games is a good thing
The Las Vegas Raiders’ offense had its shares of issues in 2023, but it wasn’t all bad.
The unit did have some good success at times. One of the areas was production on their opening drives during the 2023 season.
According to a recent tweet by SB Nation teammate Kyle Posey, the averaged the 12th most points on their opening drive last season with an average of just under three points on the drive. Here is the full list:
The three teams that averaged the most points on their opening drives in 2023 were all in the NFC West.

2nd – Rams
3rd – Seahawks
4th – Eagles

That is a trend new Las Vegas offensive coordinator Luke Getsy can build on and try to continue in the 2024 season.
There’s nothing like starting fast, this is something Las Vegas will want to build on.
