The Raiders’ 2020 third-round pick was released by Las Vegas on Monday
The Tanner Muse era is officially over with the Las Vegas Raiders.
NFL Media has reported that the freshly-waived second-year linebacker is signing with the Seattle Seahawks’ practice squad.

Muse — a 2020 third-round pick from Clemson — cleared waivers Tuesday after he was released Monday. It seems Muse was interested in getting a fresh start elsewhere. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported Tuesday afternoon that Muse had an offer from the Raiders to go to their practice squad, but opted for an opportunity in Seattle.

Now, Muse, who was on the injured reserve as a rookie, won’t play a regular-season snap with the franchise. The same goes for fellow 2020 third-round pick, running back/wide receiver Lynn Bowden Jr., who was traded to the Miami Dolphins last year.
In the end, the Raiders felt Muse simply was not a fit, even as a special teams player. He came into the league with a strong reputation in that area.
